“They’re painting a lot of white women’s skin, Black…There’s not enough diversity within this category, so if I can use my platform to encourage more Black women to get into stunts, I will.” - Mary J. Blige

Representation matters. That’s why it’s so important to increase diversity in all areas of the entertainment industry. But there’s one group that almost never gets the spotlight or the recognition they deserve: Black stuntwomen.

As a high-performance skincare brand that stands for inclusivity, we needed to address these inequities and start changing the narrative.

So we teamed up with Mary J. Blige and one of the top stuntwomen in the industry, LaFaye Baker, to not only celebrate these incredible women, but to encourage more to enter the field. We sponsored a free stunt workshop for teen girls, set to launch in the summer of 2021.

We far surpassed our goals, with our message being shared by media outlets including Essence, BET, InStyle, and even a segment on Ellen.
