Rice Krispies Treats writeable wrappers let parents send their child a note in their lunch to brighten their day. But not all children respond to love through a written note.
That’s why we partnered with Autism Speaks to create sensory ‘Love Notes’ for children with sensory sensitivities, giving them the opportunity to actually ‘feel’ love by way of soft, soothing textures.
We spent weeks—actually, months—running our fingers over every fabric under the sun, attempting to decipher which materials felt softest and most comforting to our team. We then displayed our favorite fabrics at the Chicago Autism Speaks walk, asking hundreds of children to tell us first-hand which ones they liked best. The winning fabrics were what we used to create our sensory Love Notes stickers, which you can order online.
Now even more children can head back to school with a little extra love and support.
